In view of the importance of the tourist activity and a large number of tourists are expected in the North of Portugal for the New Year festivities, the services dependent on the Regional Directorate of Culture of the North (Museums and Monuments) will remain open to the public in its normal working hours, on December 31, 2017.

Taking into account that this affluence does not occur during the Christmas period, the Museums and Monuments under the supervision of this Regional Directorate will be closed on December 24 and 26, 2017.
